La Terrazza is a special place - the right distance from the chaos along the promenade in summer and close enough to the sea. You can sit and watch the beautiful sunsets in a peaceful surrounding and on most days you can see the Aeolian Islands and Stromboli so clearly you feel like you can reach out and touch them. Our apartments have been fully renovated and refurbished (2018/2019) and are fully furnished with comfortable, modern furniture and fittings. Our guests will also find a few comforts from home to make their stay more enjoyable.
Hello, my name is Caterina. I was born in Calabria but migrated to Australia as a little girl. I have a strong bond with the town where I was born, having visited there in the summer of 1975 and having spent pretty much every day at the beach in Palmi. It is truly a beautiful place - between mountains and the Mediterranean. After several trips back home I decided to buy a place of my own. Now I have the pleasure of sharing this special place with all of you.
Palmi and its nearby beaches overlook the 'Costa Viola' - the Violet Coast, also referred to as ' between 'mare e monti'. It is close to Villa San Giovanni where you can board a ferry to Messina. Close to Reggio Calabria, where one can visit the Bronzes of Riace, walk The Corso and stop to have an aperitivo at the many bars and cafes, walk the beautiful lungomare and take in views of Sicily. Other places to visit are the archaeological park in Taureana, golf course, centre of Palmi, Mt Sant Elia to name a few notable places. From here you can also take a boat ride to the Aeolian Islands and Stromboli. We are only 45-50 minutes away from Tropea and Capo Vaticano as well as the beautiful beaches on the Ionian Sea.
