Our house in the historic center of Porto Valtravaglia is small but newly renovated and very welcoming. It is ideal for singles or couples with or without children who want to enjoy a few relaxing days on Lake Maggiore. Located in an ancient Lombard court, it offers a discreet and sheltered inner courtyard. Regional Identification Code (CIR): 012114-CNI-00055 Features: 1 room with double bed (2 guests) + sofa bed for 1 extra guest The accommodation The apartment is on 3 floors and designed for 2 people + 1 extra guest on a sofa bed. There are stairs. Small pets are welcome. Jude, Minnie and Cagliostro are our cats, which run free around the courtyard: the presence of dogs - especially large ones - could be a problem. Guest Access Guests can access the whole house. The premises are kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and living room. The country we live in is small but charming. You can reach the beaches of the lake in just a few minutes. In the village (200/300 meters away) you will find everything you need: supermarket, newsagent, bar, bank, post office.

In 10 minutes by car you reach cities like Laveno and Luino, with all kinds of shops. Luino is famous for its historic Wednesday market which attracts thousands of tourists every year. Ponte Tresa has a more intimate but organized market on Saturday. The other cities in the area are within easy reach: Varese is only a 30-minute drive away, Milan around 90 minutes. We are also 10 minutes from Switzerland: Lugano can be reached in about 30 minutes, Locarno in 60 minutes. From the beaches of Caldè to those of Maccagno, in a few minutes you will find ideal places for swimming during the summer. Excursions and villages For those who love walking or using a bicycle, there are numerous paths and trails. From walks on the lake to trekking in the magical places surrounding Lake Maggiore, the choice is endless. The numerous lakes in the area have cycle and pedestrian paths for walks in total safety. The Campo dei Fiori regional park offers a network of well-marked and panoramic trails. Transport and parking At 100 meters there is a public covered and free parking, free. In the village (200 / 300mt) there is a bus stop and the train station.
