This 4-star hotel is an elegant 19th-century building that retains its original architecture and furniture. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and have period Sicilian furnishings. AKADEMIA restaurant serves both Sicilian and international cuisine, specialising in fresh fish dishes and homemade cakes. The hotel's quiet location is ideal for escaping chaotic Catania. It has good bus links into the centre and is easily reached from the A18 motorway and Catania's ring road. A shuttle from/to central Catania is available on request (with an extra charce).
