Tucked between the mountains and the sea, Villammare is a charming fishing village that has preserved its authentic soul. Located at the foot of the Cilento National Park, it's the perfect base to explore a more genuine, lesser-known side of Italy. Here you'll find: long beaches and crystal-clear waters, a picturesque seafront lined with palms, eucalyptus trees, and cozy bars; local seafood restaurants, beach chalets, and lively summer evenings by the shore. Just a few minutes inland, the hilltop village of Vibonati offers postcard-worthy views and a timeless atmosphere. And for day trips, Sapri (only 4 km away) is well connected by train to Salerno, Naples, and the rest of the region. The sandy beach of Santa Maria Le Piane is just 700 meters away – perfect for long seaside strolls. The center of Villammare is a 10-minute walk from the beach, although we recommend having a car, especially for the final scenic uphill stretch to the villa.
