About this property

ITSUKUSHIMA IROHA is located in Miyajima’s Omotesando Avenue, a 5-minute walk from Itsukushima Shinto Shrine and Miyajima Pier. The hotel offers a restaurant and Japanese-style rooms with free wired internet access. The stylish rooms at ITSUKUSHIMA IROHA feature tatami-mat flooring and private bathrooms. Amenities include a flat-screen TV and DVD player. The top floor indoor and outdoor public baths overlook Setonaikai Sea and the Otorii Shrine Gate. The hotel also provides business services. The restaurant "MIYAJIMA YOHEI“ in Itsukushima Iroha offers meals that make full use of these ingredients. One of the pleasures of traveling is to experience the local climate and enjoy the "food" nurtured there. Company info

Itsukushima Iroha's predecessor, Higashiya Ryokan, was established in 1867 when it is the Meiji Restoration. 155 years of history have passed in Itsukushima. During that time, the people in the Ryokan have changed, but we have maintained our deep will to the Ryokan. In March 2024, "Itsukushima Iroha" was renewed for the next generation. The history of "Itsukushima Iroha" has been created through the continuous efforts of many people. We cherish the precious history that our predecessors have built, and we will continue to create history day to day for the next 100 years. We would like to protect the Ryokan so that all visitors can experience the history and culture of Japan.

Property info

Travel, a peaceful time. The quiet moon at night light up the vermilion Grand Torii Gate. When deep unicolor darkness falls down onto the national treasure Itsukushima Shrine, travelers seek for warm hospitality and make a distraction. What is flowing in Itsukushima Iroha is a calm and peaceful time that makes you forget the daily bustle. The Seto Inland Sea that spreads before your eyes extending to the trees on Mt. Misen on the back tell you of the transience of the four seasons. A travel that is the height of the extraordinary. Please unravel your mind and spend time in the guest room where the respective sceneries of the sea and mountain are colored like a painting.
