I opened the private lodging "Azashi" in January 2024. 　 This is a private house with a quiet Showa retro feel for rent. This is a Showa retro house built in 38 years. There are no supermarkets or convenience stores within walking distance of this quiet private house surrounded by the sea, mountains, and rivers. On the premises, you can have a barbecue and have a field where you can grow your own food. Since public transportation is inconvenient, if you let us know in advance, we can purchase ingredients and pick you up from the Kushimoto Station area by car. Please relax in our calm accommodation.
At the age of 50, I quit the company I had worked for for 19 years. I moved to Kushimoto Town because I admired my hobby of boat fishing and living in the countryside. It's a turning point in my life. I'm working on new things. I'm enjoying the country life that I can't get in the city. I can't speak anything other than Japanese, but I will try my best to communicate using translation opportunities and apps.
The area around my accommodation is really just private houses and there are no shops where you can walk and shop. It takes 20 minutes by car to get to where you can shop. Kushimoto Town is the southernmost town on Honshu, Japan. Famous sights include Hashikui Rock, Turkish Memorial Museum, lighthouse, and aquarium (underwater park). Although the town is depopulated and has many elderly people, there are many people who are full of humanity. If you come to Kushimoto Town, we would appreciate it if you could stop by.
