Family-Friendly | Relax in a Spacious Home with Private Garden
Come enjoy a cozy stay like a local — quiet, clean, and heartwarming.
Our home is often chosen by travelers making a round trip through Takayama → Nagoya → Osaka, as a relaxing stopover where you can feel “at home” in between sightseeing.
One of the biggest highlights is the large private garden, where children can run around and play freely.
The queen-size bed is perfect for sharing with little ones, making it comfortable for families to relax and enjoy their time together.
Nearby, you’ll also find plenty of local dining options serving Nagoya specialties such as hitsumabushi (eel over rice), tebasaki (chicken wings), and miso nikomi udon—always a hit with our guests.

I’m Maiko — a sensitive heart with a bold spirit.
I have finely tuned senses (I can tell the difference in water taste or hear mosquito sounds!), and I’m easily moved to tears—like at my children’s sports day, when the event hasn’t even started yet.
At the same time, I’ve had my share of bold (and sometimes clumsy) adventures, like boarding a train to Paris only to realize it was heading to Brussels. Being both sensitive and daring is something I’ve come to love about myself.
I live with my husband, who is nine years older than me, and our two wonderful kids (a son and a daughter in elementary school).
Running our guesthouse has become a “family language.” Conversations like:
“Where are our guests from today?”
“Where will they go sightseeing?”
“Shall we go pull weeds before they arrive?”
…naturally bring us closer together. Hosting has given us more family moments, and fills our daily life with happiness.
One of my unforgettable travel memories is discovering rhubarb yogurt at a supermarket in England. More than Stonehenge itself, it was the joy of finding those “ordinary, everyday moments” abroad that felt like true luxury.
That’s why I value creating a place where guests can “travel as if living here” and enjoy the comfort of everyday life.
I look forward to welcoming wonderful guests and sharing those special moments together. 🎶
There is a hot spring facility just 5 minutes by car from our house.
It features 100% natural free-flowing spring water, and is the only hot spring in Aichi Prefecture selected as one of the “Top 100 Famous Hot Springs of Japan.”
The water is known for its excellent healing properties, making it a perfect place to relax and rejuvenate during your stay.
