This beautiful and completely new holiday home "Pine Nook" with a view of the surrounding forest is located only 40 minutes by car from the center of Riga and a few minutes from the center of Ogre. However, despite the short distance, this is a place to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy the peace and quiet both in summer and winter. Although the tiny holiday home is compact, it is comfortable and cozy with a fully equipped kitchen area, modern bathroom, comfortable beds, air cooling and heating. Our accommodation is suitable for families with teenagers, solo travellers, couples and small groups of travellers. Due to the risk of falling from a height, the accommodation is not safe or suitable for small children under the age of 8.
You are welcome in our holiday home "Pine Nook". We wish you to relax and leisurely enjoy the silence and peace. If you are a fan of active recreation, we will help you with advice and recommendations on which walking or cycling routes to choose, where to have lunch or dinner. The owner of the holiday home, Jānis, is a motorcycle traveler himself, so all motorcycle travelers are also welcome. If necessary, we can help with small technical support for your motorcycle repair.
Holiday house "Pine Nook" is an excellent starting point for walks or bike rides to enjoy the surrounding natural landscapes and promenades along the Daugava and Ogre rivers. Literally a few meters away is the nature park "Lazdukalni" (popularly more often called by the name of its creator - Špakovska park) with an observation tower. Less than 20 minutes away by bike is the adventure park "Milžu taka", which marks the beginning of the Ogre Blue Mountains (Ogres Zilie kalni) nature park, which is part of the NATURA 2000 area network. The Blue Mountains Nature Park has walking and cycling trails, a high observation tower, great swimming spots, lighted cross-country skiing trails and of course, unique natural landscapes. In the center of Ogre, on the pedestrian street (Brīvības street area), after an exciting walk or bike ride, you will surely find a cafe that suits your preferences.
