مدينة تطوان تسمى كذلك الحمامة البيضاء من اجمل المدن في المغرب من حيث النظافة والأمان، ولها واجهة بحرية على البحر الأبيض المتوسط وتعتبر من اجمل الوجهات السياحية في المغرب وشمال افريقيا بحيث تجمع بين السياحة الجبلية والبحرية،ومن اقدم المدن تاريخيا تمتلك تراث كبير مسجل عبر بوابة اليونيسكو وخاصة المدينة العتيقة التي تعرف بأبوابها السبع، وكذلك التراث الاندلسي المتمثل في أغلبية المنازل والمساجد بالمدينة العتيقة مع تراث الاسباني المتمثل في بنايات وأحياء مركز المدينة..
