Annapurna Eco-village is composed of several cottages made of split stone with slate roofs. Each room is spacious and has comfortable beds to give you a good night's sleep. The ensuite bathroom with a western toilet ensures you can stay fresh when it’s hot outside, and warm up in the winter. The cottages are set amongst an eco-farm within a traditional Nepali village. The backdrop is the majestic Annapurna redone with a slate roof. Each room is spacious and has comfortable beds to give you a good night's sleep. Stumble a few paces from your cosy bed & take in the serenity of a sunrise reflected in the Annapurna range and it’s gorgeous 360 degree view! A cup of tea will arrive, almost by magic to help you greet the dawn. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast with the majority of produce coming from our farm or sourced locally. What do I fancy today? Banana pancakes? Omlette? Hash browns? Veg rosti? At night, gather around the fire pit and enjoy a delicious meal. What about tonight? Pizza? Spring rolls? Pasta? Chow mein? Dal Bhat? Momos? The Annapurna Eco-village is a perfect base for bird watching, butterfly photography, walks to traditional villages or treks to the Annapurna Base Camp or Mardi Himal. The perfect place away from the noisy and polluted city where you can do some meditation, yoga, read a book or just relax in the serene surroundings.
You can trek to Armala and Lwang Ghalel (Gurung villages) from the eco-village. This takes about 5 hours & you can stay overnight with a Nepalese family. Visit the tea gardens whilst you are there. Return to Astam or direct to Pokhara. Start or finish your trek to Annapurna Base Camp or Poon hill from the eco-village. Talk to the us about the any other treks.
