The place is very clean and comfortable, 20 minutes from Monkey Island Beach and 2 minutes from Clifden Caves. Also, our host Nic was so kind and welcomed us with a delicious seed cake and fresh milk. It was an amazing stay.”

On the southern scenic route. We have converted the front of our rural shed into a beautiful modern studio. Gas hot water. Kitchenette. You will love all we have to offer locally- walk to the clifden caves, walk to the historic clifden bridge. Or organize a jet boat ride from our local providers. Prepare or recover from the famous humpridge track. Or take a drive to our beautiful lake Hauroko (30min by car). We are a busy family with two free spirited children. We have farm animals on our little lifestyle farm which you are welcome to feed. Our local town of Tuatapere is 14km away where there are several cafes and a supermarket. We look forward to seeing you soon.
I am a local nurse and Barney (my partner) works in the forestry industry. We love interacting with people and sharing our little slice of paradise with you.
I highly recommend Clifden Caves Clifden Bridge Lake Hauroko Jet boat ride/helicopter ride. Humpridge track.
