This house at Monte Alegre is part of a family estate that is over 100 years old. It has large, bright common spaces with all the comfort you may need to make your stay a pleasant one, both in winter and summer. With the character of the house come some quirks, such as narrow and steep staircases that are not really suited for people with restricted mobility. Although all children of the family grew up safely in this house, some vigilance is in order. All rooms have internet access as well as air conditioning to satisfy your personal climate wishes. The ground floor holds two rooms, with a total of 4 beds. One of the rooms is especially nice for children up to the age of 16, because one of its beds is at ground level. Attached to the kitchen and the living room is a greenhouse, where you can have your breakfast, relax with a book, or finish the day with a nice glass of wine The house is part of a family estate, and guests only have access to the house, green house, and is directly attached surroundings. The garden is not available for the guests, the photographs are only there to give you an idea of the ambience.
Situated in what is considered a noble area of Estoril, the house is only a two-minute walk away from the beach and transportation services. The one’s available are: train (Cascais - Lisboa), buses (Sintra, Cabo da Roca and beaches), Avis Car Rental, bicycles, taxis and charging units for electrical cars. To park your car, you have to pay and during the beach season it can be difficult to find a parking spot at all. During the summer, a nearby club holds open air dance events and the produced sounds can incommodate a more sensitive person. Directly at the coast you will find the paredão, which stretches from Cascais to São João de Estoril, where you can take walks, exercise and enjoy several restaurants. At less than 3km distance you can swing your clubs at the Estoril Golf Course. Casino do Estoril, at about a distance of 10 minutes walking.
