Escape city life and discover this newly renovated house located in the middle of Flatön in the magical fjords of Bohuslän. Here you live in a Swedish "jungle" of two hectares with access to a beautiful mix of forest, rocks, meadows and salty dips only 5 minutes by bike or 15 minutes on foot. Get lost in the wild garden with fruit trees, hammocks and patios, hike or take a dip in the sea. You have free access to our yoga studio, which is located in our enchanting yurt village right next door. The house is well-planned with a kitchen, living room furnished with selected vintage furniture, a bedroom, a sleeping loft, a bathroom and a toilet. Kitchen: Fully equipped kitchen with plenty of space for cooking, although NO oven. The kitchen has a fridge, coffee machine, kettle, stove, mixer and most of the amenities you will need. Living room: Lofty living room with high ceilings, vintage furniture and beautiful daylight. Bedroom: Bedroom with double bed, 140 cm, a private bathroom and wardrobes. Sleeping loft: Loft with double bed, 160cm, and windows in two directions, one of which has a glimpse of the sea. Two extra sleeping spots: We can offer two extra comfortable mattresses to place in the sleeping loft if necessary. Bathroom 1: Located next to the bedroom and has a shower, toilet and sink. Bathroom 2: Located right by the entrance with toilet and sink. Wifi: Fast wifi perfect for lazy evenings in front of your favorite movie or for those who want to work remotely from the house. Cleaning: Leave the house as you got it. Vacuum cleaner is in the wardrobe in the bedroom and other cleaning materials behind the curtain in the kitchen (below the kitchen bench).

We are two couples living on the property (Anton, Sandra, Johanna and John). But we are half time living in the city working with journalism, yoga, acting and project management on the side of our dream project: this little yurt village.

You have access to our entire two-hectare plot to stroll around, with a beautiful mix of forest, rocks and meadows. On the property you will also find a fireplace with barbecue facilities and six unique yurts. One of these is a studio with space for yoga, movement, exercise or meditation, free for you to use if you wish. 
 PRO TIP: Rent our cosy sauna with hot/cold outdoor shower for 400 SEK (wood included). Pay on site (swish, bank transfer or cash). The house is south-facing and outside the house you will find simple outdoor furniture with sun both in the morning and in the evening. In 15 minutes' walk from the house you will find a beautiful secluded swimming spot on our private dock. There’s plenty of room for parking small and large cars, vans and caravans on the land. 
 On the property there are also two other houses that we, the owners, live in at regular intervals. Sometimes we are there and sometimes not depending on the season and month. Location: The house is located on beautiful Flatön in Bohuslän, a three-minute car ferry from popular Orust. Flatön has a lovely mix of countryside and archipelago. The beautiful fjords of Malö Strömmar flows nearby. 
On the island you will also find the popular summer restaurant Handelsman Flink where famous Swedish poet, author and musician Evert Taube spent his summers in the 40s. 
The island also offers pleasant walking paths with a view of Malö Strömmar and great hiking trails through vast forest and hills on the nearby Orust island. Supermarket: You can easily buy groceries 10 minutes from the ferry in Ellös or at the Torp shopping center approx. 25 minutes from the ferry in the other direction. There is also a kiosk on Flatön. You'll have a fantastic experience, that's for sure.
