Vila Podvin is a part of Podvin estate (first mentioned in documents from the 14th century). It was altered from a horse stable into a restaurant with rooms in 1968. We are proud to say that are house is adorned with Stane Kregar's stained windows. Our house is located at the Emperor road, this road was the main connection to Vienna back in time. It was the Podvin estate where Slovene constitution was written.
Our goal and passion is to make our guests happy with their stay, enjoy nature and great food. The restaurant has been awarded with Michelin star in years 2020 and 2021. Our Chef Grega Rozman and his team are preparing great dishes based on Slovenian tradition and best local ingridients.
The neighbourhood is still very important for horseback riding.
