Property information

Shin Sane GH is the first GH in Maesalong with more than 60 years history. Its wooden two stories building is an important part of Maesalong's history and under well taking care, although the GH has being expanded to a larger area with more bungalows and rooms.

Neighbourhood information

Doi Maesalong is on top a high mountain peak, out in the middle of Chiang Rai's mountain country, commanding a grand view of green mountain ridges stretching out to the far horizon in breathtaking panorama. The villagers are ethnic Chinese descendants of the KMT army regime that took refuge in Thailand almost 70 years ago when Communist forces won the civil war in China. Staying here gives you the feeling of having being transported to history. Almost all the noticeboards are written in Chinese, Chinese language rather than Thai is spoken here. Shin Sane GH is at the center of Maesalong.The famous morning market , the temple of mother of late King , the museum , the grave yard of General Duan , all the sites are within walking distance .
