莫忘初衷……………蓋一幢農舍是為了作退休的居所，卻在女王的要求下將農舍的動線請建築師修改為民宿，始料未及，卻也時時憶起當時的初衷。 農舍蓋好了，當初就是選定了一個非常荒涼的農牧地，處處荒草，環頸雉亂竄，班鳩不會飛，八哥鳥是用跑的，現在更知道，晚上螢火蟲亂飛，夏夜的銀河流星，真讓人心醉………很多都市該有的方便設施，這裏都沒有，電話線，這裏沒有，有線電視，這裏沒有，便利商店，遠在兩公里之外，這裏也沒有汽車聲，沒有火車聲，沒有工業汙染，沒有農業污染，沒有惱人的都市壓力，最重要的停車位，在這裡到處都是。（還好有 4G WIFI ) 這是一個怎樣的地方，除了用眼欣賞，用力深呼吸，剩下該作的，應該就是戰龍卸甲，木蘭下馬，用力放空，心…………讓心隨白雲浮移，怎麼會這樣? 因為當初買地的人，就是飽受工作壓榨的人，人生這樣活著，味如嚼蠟，身心俱疲。這個地方，正是療癒心靈的好所在，有正當的理由可以不用工作，不用收看反覆重播，又廣告超秒的有線電視． 這裏非常不合適邊渡假邊工作的人，不合適晚上一定要逛夜市的人，不合適以為巷口一定有超商的人，這裏沒有女僕，也沒有主人，大家都是大自然裏的一份子，都跟環頸雉一樣，自由自在的在此度過生命中的每一天。 感謝當初歐陽昇建築師首肯，願意承接這個建築案，也感謝建築事務所的團隊，用心用力，將迦南奇緣蓋的如此美麗，處處有驚喜。謝謝! 歡迎各位親朋好友、老同學、老同事、各位山友、跑友、車友，各位認識我們的朋友，朋友的朋友，這裏為各位開放，讓我們一起來放空…………然後，為我們膽怯的心靈，注滿能量，讓我們剛強壯膽，忘記背後，努力向前，向著標竿前進。
那個男的，最愛爬山，其他像是跑步，騎單車，釣魚，攝影，游泳，都是興趣． 那個女的，熱情好客，待人親切，英語超級棒，將迦南奇緣打理的符合期望． 我們很平凡，只追求平安，年紀有一點，所以凡事略董一點，最重要的是，我們都很好客，歡迎大家來迦南奇緣玩，一起感受這裏的氛圍．（進來的朋友，都不想離開）
迦南奇緣位於花東縱谷內，距離花蓮車站25公里，是一個遠離塵囂的寧靜處所． 附近有雲山水，兆豐農場，白鮑溪，立川漁場，鯉魚潭，翡翠谷，慕谷慕魚，林田山等等的著名景點．也方便前往七星潭，太魯閣，洄瀾灣遠雄海洋公園． 動態活動，可以賞鯨，樹冠層探險，溯溪，泛舟，飛行傘．都是大家喜愛的熱血活動． 這裏原本是豐田移民村的所在地，農業活動盛行，春夏秋冬各有不同風貌，值得細細品味．
