We love traveling, walking on the beach, eating good food and watching movies. We enjoy hosting because we get to meet new people from all over the world.

Property information

A bedroom with one queen sized bed in this contemporary and comfortable 3 bedroom, 1 bath apartment in Chicago's Historic Woodlawn community. The colors and scenic decor match natural earth and sky tones to give visitors a feeling of being on a peaceful hillside vacation. Guests will share common areas such as living room, dining room, bathroom, kitchen, office and patio. All of our guests are adults and respect the private and common spaces.

Neighbourhood information

It's a family residential area. The block we're on is quiet and the neighbors look out for each other. Our street is near mom and pop shops and restaurants. There are a couple of grocery stores in walking distance with the University of Chicago, the Hyde Park shopping district and the Museum of Science and Industry just 2 miles away. The Obama Library is also being constructed nearby. Lake Shore drive is 2 miles away and in 15 minutes you're downtown. The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) buses and trains are all around. Green Line train is 3 blocks north of the building. Red Line train stop is 1/2 mile away. The bus lines #3, #67, and #4 stops are also in walking distance. Washington Park is 10 mins walk north, and Jackson Park is east. Divvy Bikes and Scooters are also accessible.
