Welcome to Cole Springs Cottage, a unique and lovingly preserved German cottage nestled deep in the greenbelt of Buda, TX. Dating back over a century, this rare find offers unique architectural details and rich history, providing a truly magical setting for your getaway. With 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and 10 beds, it comfortably sleeps up to 7 guests. Enjoy amenities like a Nespresso coffee maker, remote desk setups, a full-sized pool table, Roku entertainment, an on-site washer/dryer, and a multi-level tower with a record player and kids' play area ("the cave"). We even offer covered parking with an EV charger for Teslas, and dogs are welcome to enjoy our 14 acres of open space. You're still just a short distance from downtown Buda's hip restaurants, boutique shops, and nature trails.
I'm Gina, a mom of four, and my son, Ben, is my dedicated co-manager for the cottage. We're just 11 minutes away and available at a moment's notice should you need anything during your stay. Our goal is for you to experience "Gemütlichkeit" (cozy comfort) and find as much peace and beauty here as we do.
Our cottage offers the best of both worlds: secluded in a heavily wooded area with a neighboring creek, providing a tranquil escape. Guests love being just minutes away from downtown Buda, where you can explore fun shops, diverse restaurants, and a lively farmer's market on Sundays. For adventure seekers, we're conveniently located about 20 minutes from tubing excursions in San Marcos and some of Austin's coolest swimming holes. We're also an ideal choice for families attending local weddings and graduations who wish to bring their beloved pets along. Please note that given our natural setting, spiders and scorpions may occasionally visit despite regular pest control efforts.
