Hurricane Update Hurricane Ian impacted Fantasy Island Resort I on September 29, 2022, and Hurricane Nicole on November 10, 2022, resulting in the pool, pool deck, seating, and grilling area remaining closed due to our seawall sustaining substantial damage from both hurricanes. Unfortunately, this also means no beach access from our property. The building itself has been deemed structurally safe, and all amenities regarding the timeshare units are still available for however long your stay might be. The surrounding area shops and restaurants are still open as usual, and beach access is available from different points of entry along A1A; you must walk or drive to them. Fantasy Island Resort I is an enchanting oasis on the beautiful, pristine white sandy beaches in serene Daytona Beach Shores. Exuding old-fashioned vintage charm with all the modern conveniences of home, it is the perfect destination to get away and relax with family and friends. Relax on the beach or in the sparkling heated pool. Use the grills and dine on the pool deck. Enjoy the many nearby recreational activities such as deep sea fishing, boating, surfing, snorkeling, parasailing, and golf, to name a few. Explore the Orlando theme parks, the Kennedy Space Center, or St. Augustine, America’s oldest city, all just an hour away. From restaurants to entertainment, there is plenty to do and more to explore. When ready to get away, choose Fantasy Island Resort and experience “a little slice of heaven.”
