Enjoy the natural beauty of the Asheville, NC countryside on our private 70+ acre property in a newly renovated, light-filled 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom house that is fully appointed and can sleep up to 6 people. Explore numerous hiking trails, BBQ a delicious meal, relax creekside or jump into our swimming hole, while staying connected with high speed fiber internet at the house. Then, take the short 20 min drive to downtown Asheville to experience its shopping, restaurants, craft breweries and more. The house has 2 bedrooms (each with a king bed), 1 bathroom with twin sinks, and a den/tv room with a queen sofa bed. There is a fully-appointed kitchen with a dishwasher, coffee maker, blender, toaster and plenty of pots, pans and cooking utensils. Stay comfortable with the central heating and AC and keep your clothes clean with the washer/dryer. The house also come equipped with two smart televisions - both with built-in Roku. Guests have exclusive access to our private 70+ acre property - with no other rentals on the land. Dogs are allowed. No more than 2 - each under 50 pounds. An extra pet fee will be charged. The property is located in a beautiful, rural area north of Asheville along a quiet country road. The Ivy Creek borders one side of the property and there are 360 degree views of the surrounding countryside from the top of the land. It is incredibly peaceful and feels remote but is only 8 minutes from the town of Mars Hill (with grocery stores, coffee shops, restaurants, gas stations, police/fire) and 20 minutes from downtown Asheville.
Your on-site host David Stevenson lives just down the road from the property. He has lived in the area for many years and raised two beautiful daughters in Mars Hill.
