Our brand new guest house is a spacious one bedroom, one bath with a bunk loft. Come enjoy our quiet neighborhood after a full day of sightseeing. Located 2 miles from downtown, 10 miles from Folly beach or Sullivan’s island, this tastefully decorated guest house will not disappoint! Guests will have access to the entire cottage. The backyard is shared with the main house.This quaint West Ashley neighborhood is seated in between downtown and the trendy shops of Avondale. We are not a party house! The cottage is located in a quiet, family oriented neighborhood. STR permit #04191. We are a 5 star superhost!
My family and I live in the main house of our Charleston property. If we are not home, you can likely find us at our creek house in Edisto, not too far away. We are a family of six with two kids off at college and two in elementary. We are busy! We love Charleston and Edisto and all they have to offer. Our favorite days are those spent on the water. We would be so happy to host your Charleston or Edisto visit! Our dogs are two small dachshunds named George and Blue. You may see them around, in Charleston, but we will keep them out of the way while you are here. We live on the property and are always available, if needed, but will give you your space! We love socializing and giving good tips for getting the most out of your trip in this beautiful city!
The property is located minutes from downtown, beaches, historical sites, or many great restaurants. Our neighborhood is very safe and quiet. It is only a short walk or bike ride to the shops and restaurants of Avondale area. The cottage is less than 2 miles from MUSC hospital. There is a security camera (no recording ability) focused on the driveway. There is a RING doorbell on the front door of the main house. The RING is not in the direction of the cottage. Uber or personal car is best way to get around. You have parking on the property and there are plenty of parking garages downtown, if you bring your own car. Otherwise, Uber rides are very quick and easy. On the peninsula there are bike rentals, if that is what you are game for. Charleston is flat!
