RECREATION CENTER: Across the street at Vonn Road is Largo’s Southwest Recreation Complex. For a small fee, you can enjoy an Olympic- sized swimming pool, tennis, gymnasium, fitness center, and a wide variety of programs like fitness classes, arts and crafts, dance, and martial arts to name a few. BEACHES: The closest beach is Indian Rocks Beach. We also highly recommend making a trip to Clearwater Beach, which is north on Gulf Boulevard. It is a beautiful drive. RESTAURANTS: Good place for pizza is Mike’s Pizza and Pub and Jake’s Coastal Cantina for tex-mex. Most of the seafood restaurant near the beach are really good, and Tropical Ice Cream and Coffee on Gulf Boulevard is fantastic.
