As the backyard is a shared space, you may see us coming and going and working in the garden, grounds, or barn. We enjoy hosting guests who stay here for so many reasons, such as: Some have grandchildren and family to visit nearby; Attending a wedding, graduation, or memorial service; Showing up for college visits, Adamant Music School, or Parents' Weekend at Norwich, University of Vermont, St. Michaels College, Champlain College; for Vermont sports like the Vermont City Marathon, mountain biking, the Long Trail, or skiing at nearby Stowe, Sugarbush, Mad River Glen, and Bolton: Enjoying the Vermont seasonal scenes like fall foliage, winter wonderland, and the green mountains in summertime; Finding a base to take day trips to the mountain, Ben & Jerry's, Trapp Family Lodge, Burlington and Lake Champlain; A great spot to work remotely; and some who are visiting the New England area from overseas and taking in all the special flavors that the state of Vermont has to offer. Many guests continue to book to stay here again as they feel happy to find a comfortable, convenient, affordable, and especially clean space.
