Located along the Puna Coast on the Big Island of Hawaii, this area offers, Black sand Beaches, Sea Cliff's, Mackenzie State Park, Pohoiki Black Sand Beach Park, Lava tree State park, Kaimu Black Sand Beach. We are on a coast line but in a central location for swimming, eating, hiking and other vacation activities. Hilo town is a must visit with its colorful farmers market, spectacular Hilo Bay and the Hawaiian Tropical Botanic Gardens, as well as shopping, and interesting museums to learn all about the history of “The Big Island”. The East Side of the Big Island is a foodies’ paradise. The Bali House is only 40 minutes from Volcanoes National Park and see the active Lava lake on Kilauea, waterfalls and Hilo. Pahoa is only 7 miles away-it h Kehena beach Estates is a small Coastal Beach Community Located on East side of the Big Island of Hawaii. We have Farmers markets on Weekend and also Live entertainment at Nights on Wed nights at Uncle Roberts in Kalapana is just 2 miles away. We are right across Kehena Black sand beach and minutes away from Pohoiki Black sand beach. Kaimu black sand beach is only 3 miles away along with other pocket beaches along the Puna coast. Note: We are on a tropical Island so Bugs and Geckos are normal part of life here you may see them inside or outside.
