Located in the heart of the Earl Young Historic District, this charming vintage residence is just a stone's throw from everything that makes this lakeside community so special—from stunning Lake Michigan shorelines to charming downtown cafes, boutiques and eateries. Built in the early 1900s, The Cottage has been lovingly restored to preserve the whimsical charm that Earl Young is famous for while offering all the modern amenities today's guests desire. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and grew up in Northwestern Michigan. I bought this charming mushroom house and stay whenever I'm visiting family in Michigan. My family and friends also enjoys it year-round. I work in residential real estate in CA and love architecture, design and remodeling spaces. When I'm not working, I'm generally on the pickleball court or hiking the trails around where I live.
The property is located just blocks from the Lake Michigan beach, downtown Charlevoix and a short drive to area attractions including State Parks, Petoskey, wineries, ski resorts, among other popular destinations.
