Hollywood Local Recommendations Restaurants (all within a couple minute walk of your condo): Restaurants- Higher End: Ka’teen- Beautiful higher end Mexican spot with great cocktails. Mother Wolf- Chef Evan Funke has wafer-thin wood fired pizzas, hyper-seasonal antipasti and traditional handmade pastas. Gwen- Michelin star restaurant a half block over. Get some of the best steaks, lamb, fish and other delectable dishes. Grandmaster Recorders- Great assortment of American dishes on the main floor or cocktails on the rooftop. Tao- Upscale Pan-Asian food in a trendy atmosphere. Restaurants- Nice but not too fancy: L’Antica Pizzeria de Michele- Pasta, Pizza and cocktails are all amazing. A favorite. Hui Tou Xiang- Great Dim Sum, dumplings, and noodles. One of the best in LA Superba- Best for brunch. Very tasty. Cute outdoor setting. Restaurants- Simple bites: Tocaya- 1 block away. A fresh Mexican place with a cool vibe. My go-to for a quicker bite. Stout- Fantastic Burgers and many beers on tap. 3rd Base- This is where you go if you want to watch the game. Restaurants (that are all a little drive): Osteria Mozza- Lauded upscale Italian cuisine from chef Nancy Silverton in a bustling atmosphere. Ham Ji Park- The best pork spare ribs I have ever had. The place is not fancy, but the spare ribs are worth it. Rooftops (also within a couple minute walk): Highlight Room- At the Dream Hotel. The spot to be on warm weekends. Grandmaster Recorders- Smaller more intimate rooftop with great design Desert 5 Spot- Fun late-night bar, often with live music. Mama’s Shelter- Chill vibes and good food. IO Rooftop (at the Godfrey)- Sip a cocktail poolside in this brand-new spot. Bar Lis- a chic rooftop lounge that captures the iconic spirit and style of the French Riviera.
