This comfortable private guest room offers one of best places to stay in Swellendam ; the inviting feeling of a warm family home, plus the privacy of your own room, with en-suit bathroom and a private patio. The perfect overnight accommodation. No meals provided.
Situated within walking distance from the centre of town, variety of restaurants, coffee shops, gift shops and bars. The bedroom is spacious with a double bed and en-suite bathroom with shower, basin and toilette. Free WI-FI is availble. Cupboard with hanging and shelving space. Private patio. Suitable for couples or a single guest. There is a flat screen TV with DSTV,microwave, bar fridge, toaster, kettle, cuttlery, coffee, tea, sugar, milk and rusks to start your day. We do not offer use of the home kitchen, and therefore provide tea/coffee making facilities. Bedding and towels provided. Off-street parking with motion detectable flood lights and security camera. We have 3 friendly dogs, 2 cats and an African Grey parrot.

Situated on the N2, approximately 230 km from Cape Town and George, Swellendam is the perfect choice for a halfway stopover or as a base from which to explore the area. In 1743 Swellendam was declared a magisterial district, the third oldest in South Africa. The district was named after Governor Hendrik Swellengrebel and his wife, Ten Damme. In June 2011, the Swellendam Municipality area, which includes Barrydale, Suurbraak, Malgas, Infanta and Stormsvlei, re-declared itself a Republic. This republic is dedicated to the principles of the New South Africa, and celebrates rural life, racial harmony, respect for nature and wildlife, and aims to promote sustainability and an "unplugged" way of life for all to enjoy.
