About Cathkin Cottage Bed and Breakfast: Cathkin Cottage Bed & Breakfast, offers comfortable and well-appointed accommodation in the Central Drakensberg. The property has a swimming pool set in beautiful gardens, two guest lounges and offers free Wi-Fi. An inverter provides 24hour lights and Wi-Fi. All rooms have their own private entrance and ensuite bathrooms with a shower and free amenities. Rooms are equipped with a mini fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, fans, wall heaters and electric blankets. A scrumptious home-cooked breakfast and freshly brewed coffee is served daily in the breakfast room. The Property Cathkin Cottage is situated in a secure, private estate with hiking trails, abundant bird-life and a collection of wild-life including Zebras, Wildebeest (otherwise known as Gnu) and Blesbok. The property incites peace and serenity, with personalised attention to service and hospitality. We really are, different, better, and special. The Neighbourhood Cathkin Cottage is very centrally situated to all the attractions of the area including activities, lifestyle centres and restaurants. There are numerous hikes that cover the area with incredible scenery and stunning waterfalls. Other experiences in the Valley include Helicopter flips, Tree top canopy tours, Hot air ballooning and the Spoilt Green Health Spa which is in walking distance. We are also home to the world-famous Drakensberg Boys Choir School which offers public shows throughout the year. Explore, unwind, relax, and rejuvenate with everything that our beautiful valley has to offer.
