The suite consists of two spacious rooms and a bathroom. Room 1 has a double bed and room 2 is a sitting room/bedroom with two single beds plus a secret pull-out bed. It can sleep four people comfortably and a fifth at a push! The sun pours into room 2 in the morning and room 1 catches the afternoon sun. There is a separate private entrance. Teas and coffee, some crockery and cutlery, a toaster and a fridge are available but there are no full cooking facilities. There is free wifi and a small table for working on.

My lovely sea view house is located in the gorgeous fishing village of Kalk Bay. It is 3 minutes from the Harbour where several restaurants serve a range of fare as well as very fresh fish. The house is just outside the busy heart of the village (5 minutes walk) so is relatively quiet and peaceful. Kalk Bay has many cafes and restaurants, boutiques, bookshops etc. The coastal passes the house. Itcan be heard in one of the rooms but not in the other and doesn't run after 8.00pm. From Kalk Bay you can head South to historic Simonstown and north to the magnificent beach of Muizenberg . It then continues all the way to the centre of Cape Town. You can take a trip just for the views. Kalk Bay has several tidal pools which are safe and a joy to swim in. Five minutes walk away is my favourite, Wooleys pool.
