Nerf - Af Cottage is a charming holiday home situated in Onrus, a coastal enclave in the picturesque Overberg region. Lying on a seaside strip, mere minutes from Hermanus, Onrus is nestled between mountains, rivers, lagoons, and the turquoise ocean and is close to the well-known Hemel en Aarde valley. Nerf-af-Cottage has 2 bedrooms and can accommodate 4 adults with a child. The main bedroom has a Queen-size bed while the second bedroom has two Single beds that can also be converted into a King-size bed. The lounge has a single bed and sleeping coach for a child. The Cottage is light and airy, perfect for summer breakaways. As well as also cozy in winter with a built in Victorian fireplace. The covered patio has a built in barbecue braai area. The Cottage is fully equipped and ideal for long term family breakaways. A pretty herb garden and olive trees separates the Cottage from the Main House. It is also next to a Play Park and has direct access. The MAIN House with 2 En-suite ROOMs are on the same premises. The ROOMs has private entrances and free wi-fi. The Kings Room has kitchenette facilities and DSTV. It is perfect for romantique breakaways.
Eugene and Serina as hosts, have been happily married for 45 years. Serina has been in Direct and Marketing Business for 36years, whereas Eugene was in the Banking industry. Serina has started a few businesses, which were all sold at great success. We are passionate about people and family-life. We have a zeal for life and love sharing what we have been blessed with. We are also passionate to love the Lord Jesus and to follow in His Footsteps. Our heart is to provide a PLace of Peace, Rest and Restoration to everyone entering our HOMe and COTTage. Nerf-af-Cottage and the MAIN House is situated in the quiet and tranquil area of Bosplasie,which used to be a Farm Area.The development allows for a lot of open space. The MAIN House with onsuite ROOMS and the Cottage is next to a Kids Play Park. It is a very child friendly area and good for family life. There is also a lot of birdlife. Ocean Views can be seen afar off. The Beach of Onrusrivier is only 2km away.The Onrusriver Lagoon runs into the sea. There are numerous local attractions close by. The Hemel en Aarde Wine Valley which provides for an experience in Wine Tasting. Popular Cellers are Hamilton Russels, La Vierge, Spookfontein, Creation. Hermanus has top quality Restaurants and good food. Artwork is an important part of Hermanus industry. Best Whale Watching Trips in Hermanus can be arranged and is just 10min away. Shark Cage Diving can also be arranged nearby. There is also a very popular pengion area nearby. Hiking and Cycling routes,as well as Fishing, kite surfing and surfing on the very popular Onrus river waves are some of the popular outdoor sports which can be done.
