Simon and the rest of the staff are very welcoming. The flowers and card in the room when we arrived were a nice gesture. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The Swan Inn is in Moreton in Marsh main street with the bus stop right opposite and the train station just a few minutes walk away. Breakfast was included and was at the coffee shop right opposite. It was great, too. Moreton in Marsh is a great base to explore the Cotswolds by public transport.

We are very pleased to have found The Kingham Pllough. Located a 10-minute drive southwest of Chipping Norton, it is a perfect location from which to explore the Cotswolds. With nicely appointed comfortable rooms, a terrific restaurant, and complimentary onsite parking, it ticks all the boxes for country pub accommodation. Two of the Plough’s six rooms are also dog-friendly.

I would recommend The Volunteer Inn to anyone. The room was spacious and luxurious. The breakfast excellent. The staff, friendly and welcoming. We loved the atmosphere in the bar and the bar prices were very reasonable. On our next stay there we will definitely try the Indian Restaurant.
