Hosts were very welcoming, nice an friendly and nothing was a problem. The property is a typical Belgian detached villa with modern accommodation. Bedroom very comfortable with airco. Heated pool and jacuzzi. Great value for money. We are booking for next year.

We simply loved our stay here. To be honest, we would love to book another trip in this direction just to stay here again. Don’t think twice before booking—it won’t disappoint. The location was not too far from the motorway. The facility itself does show signs of aging, but the very welcoming host more than made up for it. I arrived relatively late, and was instructed where I could eat what, what was open, how good it was etc. Although it was only a one night stayover, I was given full instructions in - everything.

Good location for exploring West Flanders. Easy to find. Lots of parking. Easy to walk the dog. Very friendly hosts. Excellent breakfast. Kitchen at our disposal and well stocked fridge and snack counter for purchase. We had a private entrance. Nice common patio area, but the weather wasn’t too good during our stay.

A demolished building at the entrance made us wonder if we were in the right place, but as soon as we were through the gates, we could see that we were somewhere exceptional. The building is elegant, the grounds superb, and the public spaces roomy with welcoming decor. It's more of a big B&B rather than a small hotel, but a very good one. I suspect that we had the smallest of the rooms, but we were comfortable enough for our 4 nights. Ter Wallen is an easy walk from the Markt square and the station, so it's a good spot for exploring this part of Belgium, and close enough to some of the historic battlefields for a day trip. Izigem itself is a nice small town, with plenty of spots to enjoy a beer or two. Ter Wallen's breakfast is on the expensive side; we only had breakfast on one morning but it was very good.
