The property is set in a stunning area. Whilst Switzerland in general is extremely picturesque, you cannot beat the views which are on your door stop. You are set on Lake Zug with views of the surrounding mountains. Whilst slightly off the beaten track it is easy accessible with the train station a short 5 minute walk away with good connections. Not that you’d know because you don’t hear the trains! You can swim in the pool or take a swim in the lake or even better… paddle boarding! The outdoor area is well decorated with the sun setting down throughout the day. The property itself is designed for couples but is well designed, clean and modern. The host is happy to be contacted throughout the stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again despite being on the pricier side which I think is currently a fair value.

Set in Oberägeri, Hotel Ländli offers direct lake access on the shores of the Ägerisee glacial lake. It features a spa and wellness centre, an indoor pool, and free WiFi in public areas.

The staff were extremely welcoming and catered to our every need. They were also very kind whenever we needed anything extra. The restaurant at the hotel is first class and I thoroughly recommend visitors eat there!

The luxurious Park Hotel Vitznau right at the banks of Lake Lucerne has been entirely renovated in 2012 and 2013 and features its own private beach, 2 restaurants, a large spa area and free garage...

I booked this for my daughter and her partner. She also stayed at the Waldorf Versaille which actually had fireworks that she could see from her room overlooking the palace. We have returned several times over many years and the quality is always of the highest order : welcoming and professional staff,; clean; extensive and varied breakfast of high quality dishes ; delicious dining in the restaurant; etc... The location on the lake provides the hotel with a unique advantage in terms of terrace dining as well as garden relaxing with a heated outside pool. The lake and mountain views are wonderful.
