To be honest, the wallpaper was not really my style. But the ground floor parking was huge, the room upstairs was bigger than expected, and the air conditioning worked perfectly – I was very satisfied with that. The host was also very kind, and the view outside was lovely.

Location was about 1.6km away from the Camino but I think worth the detour. Took us 1hr 45min (9km) to get to Caldas De Reis the next day. It was raining so we could not enjoy the garden or the pool. But it does look lovely. There is no dinner but the host will drive you to and from a restaurant for 10E. Super stop.

This place was the nicest place we stayed at on our entire journey through Spain and is truly a little paradise. Maria was a fantastic host and gave us loads of recommendations on things to do. The place is well thought out and has so much attention to detail e.g. remote gate control, entire place has wifi routers, a fantastic garden with fruits and vegetables you can use depending on season. It was very clean and well maintained. It could have not been more comfortable. The owner was very nice as well. It is also a great place for dogs since it is a closed area. The swimming pool was great, too. The house has great style and bathrooms were perfect including extended mirror light. The old and new style of the house are perfectly merged together. We will definitely come back again.

We had a fantastic stay in this Family run hotel. The hostess was so kind and thoughtful. Highlights include the amazingly beautiful grounds, courtyard where you can sit and read, very clean room with a lovely view and the peace and quiet in the countryside. Breakfast was very good with home made cake, toast, meats and cheese, tea and coffee as well as freshly squeezed orange juice. We'd definitely recommend this hotel very highly. Great value for money too.

We were looking for somewhere to stay as we were going to the Triathlon world championships in Pontevedra. Initially reluctant to book as the property had no reviews but no need to worry as it’s brand new and we couldn’t have been happier and it’s in very easy reach of Pontevedra with many other lovely places on the doorstep. It’s beautifully furnished, very spacious and has stunning views of the estuary. The hosts are absolutely wonderful and couldn’t do enough to ensure everything was ok and deserve to do very well with this fantastic property. Kitchen contains everything you might need including a coffee machine and parking is easy and secure. We loved this place and the hosts and would definitely book again if in the area. Thank you for having us and we were honoured to be your first guests x

The room had a bold, luxurious style with a massive mirror ceiling that was great fun. The two-person bath was well-shaped and the shower poured directly into it, which was a nice touch. The bed was large and comfortable, and the TV was positioned directly in front for easy viewing. The 24-hour food and drink service was also excellent.
