After being allocated an ocean view room, which you could barely see a glimpse of the ocean, we complained and were upgraded to a 5th floor ocean view room which had amazing views over Calellà and the ocean. So we were very happy thanks to Juna. The breakfast is outstanding with a good variety and of high quality. The grounds are lovely with a nice swimming pool. We dined at the restaurant for dinner having the 3 course special and the food was one of the best meals that we have had since we have been travelling for 4 months. The quality and variety was fantastic the portion sizes were big and the flavours were amazing. I wish I had extended my stay for another couple of nights. Hotel Garbi is on the side of a steep hill which gives you great views, for the views you need to be able to walk up and down stairs into town, which is very close by.

Amazing friendly staff with good english. They had great restaurant recommendations. Included breakfast was quick and tasty and good value. Far enough from city centre to be quiet and relaxed but close enough for an easy walk in.

Beautiful place! The pictures were beautiful but in person was even better. Great location if you’re renting a car: 2min to nearby supermarket, 5min to the town of Begur, 10min to many of the nearby beaches, and close to Calella de Palafrugell which had great lunch spots. The property is in fact shared with the hosts Martine and Menno, who were very attentive and checked in on us and were very helpful!

    I had a room with seaview and spa pool of the the balcony (room 417). The property is beautiful, spacious, very clean room and large bathroom. It's a bit of an uphill walk to reception and lots of steps. A short walk down hill to the beach, restaurants etc..bar and restaurant on site, in nicely landscaped gardens. The tourist "hop on hop off bus stop is outside the entrance..picks up from Palafrugell bus station (6.50E) at 11am, 12.30, 16.00, 19.00..otherwise taxi is approx 18E. Good selection for breakfast.

    Family with young children (7 and 6 ), perfect as you could have option of going to the beach and if too much, relax back at the pool. Not many places with a pool. Rooms were great, short walk to the main part on the coast with restaurants, kids friendly. Breakfast, lunch and evening meals great options. Very easy if you have a family and a spar a few minutes away which has all you need on top. Also provides parking and great location
