Such a warm and cozy cabin to sleep in. The Northern Lights Village also offers additional tours can be booked separately. With a SKi bus that comes through regularly.Was worth the price. It also included all 3 meals complimentary.

The cabin was beautiful, spacious (probably wouldn’t want more than 3 staying), cosy and there was a big spa bath and shared sauna. it also had a well stocked kitchen! The location was incredible! it is centrally located and about a 5 minute walk from supermarket, 2 minute walk to restaurants and pubs. it is also about a 10 minute walk to the northern lights village! They even left us some Prosecco (ice edition) for when we arrived which was lovely. Checking out was easy and relatively simple (at the office next to supermarket). They also let us store our bags for the day which was nice. Checking in was easy as we had a private taxi transfer which picked us up, took us to the supermarket, picked up our keys and drove us to the property but on our first night, this may have been difficult without this service.

We felt very welcome from the moment we walked into the main building. The owners were great hosts. We ate at the restaurant on site both nights and our meals were exceptional. The igloos surpassed our expectations. Elegant and cosy. We were lucky to see the northern lights laying in bed!

We spend a relaxing long weekend at Valo Ice Cubes in February. The accommodation exceeded our expectations in every level and we have not experienced similar in the Alps or in the other Nordic countries where we have travelled in the past. We were warm welcomed by staff who briefly introduced us all the necessary information about the villa and answered to our questions that we had about local activities etc. The villa and furniture has been designed by Finnish designers and the items ranging from limited edition Marimekko tableware to locally manufactured soaps. The views from the living room are spectacular and on the first night we managed to spot Northern Lights from there. Also from both master bedrooms you can find a dedicated window for spotting the Northern Lights and the views from the sauna are amazing. The location of the villa is convenient. The slopes are located next to main entrance and we were able to ski directly from the Villa. Also our wishes were exceeded for example on Saturday evening we wanted to eat a dinner at the Villa and we were offered a delicious locally reindeer dish with a appetizer and desert. Overall we had a really nice stay and would definitely come there again in the future.

This modern luxury villa is homely and perched in the perfect spot just 5 minutes by car from town centre and the Star Arctic Hotel. It has everything you need, plus a gorgeous log fire burner, sauna and hot tub as well. It's also stocked with complimentary bathroom sundraes and kitchen consumables. Surrounded by winter wonderland in every direction – but no need to worry about getting snowed in, the plough keeps the access roads clear every day. It was perfect and I can't wait to go back!
