Our suite was spacious and the hosts paid great attention to details that made the stay even more pleasant. The views over the bay are magnificent. The breakfasts are creative and delicious. The best rating cannot be enough for this exceptional property and hosts. We would love to visit again.

It had everything we wished for and more. What a great and True hideaway. Bathroom is very nice, modern and good hottubis a great extra. Fully equiped kitchen and a bbq. Sofa is really comfy. I just wishes we booked an extra night, because 1 night is doing yourself short..

The cabin has everything you could think of to make your stay comfortable. It’s so homely you don’t want to leave to go exploring! The bed is super comfortable and all the little touches just make it. We will be bad soon for another stay. We travelled up in stormy weather and the hot tub was just what was needed after a long drive!!

Another perfect 10 for this place. Hopefully it will be free next time I am planning to visit. ;-) I booked the house because of its view, the fireplace, the hot tub (with a view) and because the price was within my range. But what I got was much more than that. I instantly felt at home, even though I traveled alone, I never felt unsafe. Easy check-in, hot tub was already on a nice temperature. and the VIEW: my phone is full of pictures with changing light and every 5 minutes my favorite motive - Suilvan - seemed to look different. There were 3 bedrooms, I took the one facing to Suilven and in the morning, with open curtains, you feel like he watches you over. Kitchen is perfectly equipped to cook everything you like. Welcome pack with sweets and marmalade as well as breakfast tea, which I enjoyed next to the fireplace snuggled in the chair and enjoying the view, sometimes even deer coming up to the house. Everyday I struggled getting out of the house, because it was so cosy but the weather was that good that I needed to get out and explored the surroundings. Because of off-season I did not meet one hiker on the way to Achmelvich, but this was high season for me. I strongly recommend getting there in autumn, because of the colours. When you travel from Edinburgh airport directly to Waterloo House you would need 5 hours (according to google maps), but with all the nice views it took me 8 to get to Lochinver, and 7 to go back (almost same route). But it is all worth it! Surely coming back.

Everything exceeded our expectations and was fantastic. The hosts were extremely friendly, the location and views were breathtaking, and the hut itself was exceptionally cozy, well-equipped, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed. The hot tub was a delightful and much-welcomed bonus, adding to the overall charm of the place, which ended up being one of the highlights of our trip.
