Aidy's place is a piece of paradise. It is so clear to me that Aidy has put a lot of care and attention to the property. It is a place built with love. The view of the fields is beautiful. The pool is the best pool that I have ever been in. The heated water was so soothing. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the designs are all very interesting. I also enjoyed sitting by the pool and eating the snacks, looking at the green fields. Of course, this is all the hardware. The soul of the place comes from the warmth of Aidy and the staff. Angga was extremely kind to come to the airport early in the morning to pick me up and also to drop me off early in the morning. He showed me around and I got to visit the markets and the Tegenungan waterfall. Candani was also so sweet to take me out to the restaurant for lunch. I cannot thank Aidy enough for all that she has done for me during my stay - making all the arrangements and looking after me. I enjoyed all the conversations and our gelatos.

It is a hidden gem. The hotel is new, with an amazing design and very clean. It is located slightly away (10 minutes by car) from the noisy Ubud center, which we personally love! They have a restaurant, an amazing pool, a place to practice yoga, and a jacuzzi—everything you need for a great, relaxing stay. And most importantly: the staff are lovely and very helpful.

Very clean, beautifully kept property with lots of different spaces to lounge around. The rooms were very clean with a very comfortable bed! Saba is a very quiet area but there are many small shops around to get the essentials in walking distance. The staff were so sweet! And the breakfast was great! Definitely a must stay for a quiet relaxation away from the busy cities.

If there was a category for best host, you’d find Nick, the owner of Ikan Villa. Not only was his place gorgeous, he went above and beyond to ensure our stay was very special. He was always on hand to give advice and recommendations as well as help with drivers and local info. He wanted to show us the best Ubud offered. We stayed over New Year and he went as far as to gift us a lovely bottle of Scottish whiskey. The villa is stunning with great air con and we loved the breakfasts too. Top marks!

We stayed in Wana Bucu Villas for 3 days during our recent trip to Bali, after 5 days of living in another accommodation in Legian. Without doubt, this is one of the very best accommodations with an outdoor private swimming pool & an accompanying garden in a natural habitat that you will find in Ubud; since I did a lot of research on this very thing. - Since our arrival, the service was impeccable. My wife & I were overjoyed with our overall stay, which is better than many 5* and 6* hotels we have stayed in multiple locations globally. Ayu at the Main Desk was attentive, understood and spoke English well, and was prompt on our requests as well throughout the stay. - The villa was excellent. We loved the outdoor swimming pool. - We had ordered a floating breakfast for 1 day, and bathtub decor with flowers for 1 day. Both were very well catered for and hand-designed. It took patience and time to do so. - We had also ordered for 'Traditional Balinese Spa' treatment for 2 pax for 2 days, and the resort arranged for it as well. We loved the spa and the therapists were excellent. - Finally, room service, cleaning every day and other things were top notch. What you could expect in a 5* property. - On the day of our departure, the resort arranged for a cab for airport drop as well. All looked after nicely. We shall definitely we back in Bali and look fwd spending a few days in Wana Bucu hopefully in the future. Food & Drinks: - We had ordered in-room dining for Spaghetti Aglio e Olio etc. and the food was very tasty. The traditional Balinese wine which we had ordered was brilliant as well. - We also received a bowl of complimentary tropical fruits out of which a few were a queer looking fruit called the 'Snake Fruit'. We researched it on the Net, and tasted it... it was nice. Rooms: - Bedsheets were top quality cotton. - My wife specifically loved the design of the Mosquito Net.
