The hotel is a great location, quite modern and has nice rooms. The star of the stay was the stuff and especially Maria the receptionist. She was extremely helpful, polite and eager to help. Also the restaurant on top was great and the food is top notch. Don't miss it.

Troll waterfall, camping pod. Hot tub was very nice surprise for the end of the day to relax. Troll park was nice. Breakfast was good.

The whole place is not just a farm with cabins, it's a complex with a wonderful view to a waterfall, a walking path with trolls histories, a restaurant and hot tubs for guests. The cabins are very cute, ours in particular was super cozy and warm. We had all that we needed. The check in was super easy and the woman at the front desk was super kind to us.

The location is a bit remote, and it's a bit scary to drive there at night, as you have to walk about ten kilometers on a small road; the room is large, neat and clean; the view outside the window is particularly beautiful; the breakfast is relatively simple but very delicious.

Our stay was wonderful! Iceland’s weather may be unpredictable, but its beauty more than makes up for it. Coming back at the end of the day to this beautiful house with stunning surroundings made our trip even more special. It felt warm and welcoming, like coming home. Amazing place to stay. We weren´t sure about accomodation with shared bathroom but finally it was completetly OK. There are 3 bathrooms, 2 showers for 5 rooms I guess, so you do not have to be afraid that you will wait a long time for using bathroom. Owner was super helpful, nice and keys were prepared behind the door once we arrived with number of our room and our name on it. Breakfast was in home style well-prepared with everything you need for the morning. On each table was a coffe, you could prepare tea. Outside is amazing view to the valley and due to kind of loneliness this farm, this is one of the best place in Iceland, to be and see the Northern Lights. Hot tub is ready for use all day and night (no added expenses). Kitchen is very well equiped. We didn´t need that but there is also washing machine. Location is very strategic for the Silver Circle and Húsafell hikes. Definitely when we will come back to Iceland we will come back to here. Thanks!

Fantastic house! Lovely view down to the distant steaming river. Fabulous hot tub outside. Very comfortable beds and furniture, well-equipped kitchen, nice bathrooms. Very kind, friendly and helpful host who lives in a house on the same site (with a very friendly and fluffy dog). Will definitely stay again.
