I was worried about the operation before the trip and turns out this is definitely a 6 star hotel experience for us. A team of Super highly professional and guest friendly staff (Antonio) elevates the Grand Furore experience from the moment we stepped into the pearl white manor, greeted by refreshing welcome drinks that conjure up the image of one entering the heavens of Amalfi coast high above the clouds where you are immediately removed from the noise and chaos of tourist crowds. (It’s very nice they provide complimentary private car to amalfi and positano) Anchored at the centerpiece of this paradise is a stunning pool that transports the warmth of the Mediterranean sea, accompanied by an amazing poolside bar and restaurant. A must try is Grand Furore’s fine dining experience at Bluh helmed by resident chef Vincenzo, a surprisingly young Italian chef who mastered the art of Amalfi fine dining with creativity with local flavors way beyond the ordinary. The suite offers cozy and classy comfort reminiscent of a 007 movie set with attention to details at every corner, from the silky smooth pillows to a private jacuzzi that a Bond girl can dance with hot Amalfi sun or bath underneath the stars. Worth to mention, they have beautiful two pools, one is infinity and the breakfast was delicious with ocean view and blue sky. Can’t wait to come back.

Breakfast with a view and what a view! Breathtaking. Umberto prepares the best cappucino for breakfast! At first, we were a bit concerned about the location, because we arrived late at night and could not see the property, but it was solved after 30 minutes of total panic from us, the property is there, but we had to go up the hill and walk through this internal area to be able to see the property (lights were off in this entrance hill). I had called them from Positano letting them know we were arriving after 7:30pm, we arrived much later than that. We needed a hand from the staff to take our luggages up the hill. As it was late, Umberto prepared us pizza (the also prepare pasta if you ask) and we had local wine. The rooms are extremely well decorated, spacious, clean, nice soft white towels, air-conditioning in every room. There is a bus stop in front of the property, so you can go to Amalfi by bus and from there take buses, ferry, taxis to the other cities. I do not recommend renting a car to drive there, it can be quite scary and challenging. Buses are nice, full of tourists. For our surprise there was a Michelin star hotel in the same road, so we went there for dinner in one of the nights. Darinka, another staff member, from Venezuela, was very nice and also gave us many tips. Our next stop was Salerno, we decided to take a taxi, with the help of Umberto that arranged us a great cost-benefit taxi that told us many great stories about the area and specially about Agerola (the Swiss city of the Amalfi Coast).

Antonio and Claudio welcomed us and took care of everything we needed. The location is by the big road, which is convenient to access to the bottom and upper part of positano, even with big luggages. We also had coffee, juice and five types of bread for breakfast, which they delivered it into our room or set it up in the front yard. Thank you and see you again!

We stayed here for a week and it was absolutely wonderful! There are two suites next to one another. Ours was called Suite Positano (the one without the elevated jacuzzi) with total privacy. The view was truly amazing — the tiered homes were so close it felt like we could touch them; the beach and the ocean were in full view too. We didn’t even need to rent beach chairs because our balcony was better with privacy. The view from the shower was stunning! The two staff were sooo accommodating and friendly, every morning they prepared us a breakfast feast! Fabio is who we communicated with on Whatsapp for anything. Anything we needed, they arranged for us. He even arranged a transfer for us from Naples airport to the villa for $170 with a stop at Pompeii (without the Pompeii stop it would’ve been €140). This transfer was literally half the price of what Viator quoted. But it doesn’t include porter service which is honestly necessary as there are a lot of steps involved (€15 per suitcase). Location is close to everything! there’s a very nice mini market just below the steps, the beach and the boat terminal is about a 3-4 min walk, tons of restaurants less than a five minute was including Chez Black and Covo dei Saraceni. We were in for a treat when Napoli won the championship and fireworks were going off all night and the firework spectacle was so close to us and all around our balcony! I did so much research looking for the best property with a view and for the best price point. Out of curiosity, when we arrived in Positano, we went to visit hotels we had considered like Hotel Poseidon and Le Sirenuse. A lot of these luxury hotels are rather far from the centre and they are located on the main road of Positano (there’s only one road in this town) — making it’s dangerous to walk anywhere from the hotels, they aren’t overtly close to the beach or boat terminal, and I question if one can truly survive the fumes from the hoards of tour buses.

    Set in the most beautiful location with breathtaking views. The property was immaculately clean and had everything you could have wanted. The hot tub was wonderful to relax in in the evenings and the views were simply stunning from it. The owner and his mother went above and beyond to make our stay special. We were spoiled each day with fresh eggs, onions, garlic, herbs and pastries! We couldn’t have asked for better, she looked after us so well and even took us in her car to Amalfi. Wish I stayed longer!

    Amazing views. Great modern house. Upstairs has two bedrooms and there is a downstairs ,cottage with also a bed, bath and small kitchen. Hot tube in cave. Parking below with a bunch of stairs to get to the house. Right on one of the main hiking paths.

    Amazing views, especially of the sunset and the sea from the property. Very well appointed and maintained rooms with special touches by Anna, the hostess. The jacuzzi is very relaxing and sipping wine in the garden was one of the highlights.

    Owner of the place is really helpful and he made everything easy for us! Amazing view and house which one was really clean and looks so new. In garden is amazing jacuzzi which one is just for you. Good wifi, everything perfect. Parking space, shop not far away and bus station. I Think you shouldnt be waiting to book this place!!!
