Charming place. Nice pool with plenty of space and bar, great views, peace and tranquility. Owner and staff are very friendly, recommended tons of places nearby to do and see. Great restaurant for dinner with amazing local wine. Tasty breakfast with everything you could ask for- eggs, ham, cheese etc. (nothing is charged extra!). All from local suppliers! Rustic feel, home-like atmosphere. Nothing fancy but you are in the middle of countryside. Our apartment was equipped with everything we needed to cook lunch (including condiments), plenty of towels (fyi: indoors use only, you need to bring own or pay extra for pool towels) and comfortable beds.

Hotel Valdenza is just a few hundred metres from the Terre di Canossa Campegine exit of the A1 motorway. Easily reached from Parma and Reggio Emilia, it offers free parking.
