Our second visit to Montalbera. A great stop whilst heading further South in Italy. Superb rooms (Wine Suites) with excellent wine in the minibar! There is no restaurant here but you really dont need it. There are plenty local restaurants. We bought cured meats and cheeses prior to arrival and enjoyed a wine based dinner!! Beautiful setting and very quiet!

We absolutely loved our stay! The location is excellent, and the apartment was clean, comfortable, and felt wonderfully homey. It’s decorated with great care and creativity, making it a truly special place. Everything you might need for a comfortable stay is provided. A very welcome and authentic relief from borring IKEA furnished hotels. A true gem. And the town is lovely as well, conveniently located, there are a few shops and bars. I stayed here during my long-distance cycling trip.
