We have never experienced this kind of luxury in our lives….. this place and environment totally blew our minds! We had te luxury to stay in the villa, and exceeded all our expectations. The views, the pool, the sauna, the hotspring tub, the fireplace, the BBQ… it was more than enough to really end our holiday totally relaxed! We were supposed to go to Tokyo the last 3 days of our holiday, but we where glad that we canceled that, and went to Shikuoka instead! The falls and wasabi fields and hikes nearby were great excursions, and then come back to the villa was a real dream! Also there were no other guests, so we had the whole place for ourselves…. The house matched the photos on the website, exactly. Everything was spotless and there were plenty of amenities for us (toiletries, towels, etc.). Okuda-san met us at the property to hand over the keys and explained everything to us. She also helped us to make a reservation at a popular pizza place just down the street. The house was AMAZING! Just a few steps from the beach. We loved that we also had the jacuzzi and 3 outdoor showers available to us. We were also so grateful for the lawn chairs. We had an absolutely wonderful time!!! I highly recommend this place!

Somewhat older property but in a stunning location and well-maintained. One negative, - access to the onsen lacks elevators and requires climbing stairs. The onsen itself is again a little dated but the location and views of the beach more than makes up for this. Our room service was superb - everything one can wish for in a onsen-ryokan experience. There is a free shuttle service to the Shimoda train station.

Panoramic view of water (Sagami Bay) and a wide patio outside, spacious living area to relax, perfect for group of friends or family. Good value for money. Clear instructions to door code for key, parking, prior to arrival. Quick response of communication with all questions. Kitchen adequate with appliances and utensils for easy meals. (There's a BBQ set up outside which we didn't use.) Nice private parking. Peaceful and secluded. Located just off HWY 135, short drive to village (Inatori) for meals but be aware most of them close early some even at 7 pm! A nice restaurant nearby (within walking distance) 網元 closes at 3/4 pm except Sunday (7.30 pm).

This guesthouse is a hidden gem in a remote location, peaceful and surrounded by nature. The detached ocean view camping style room was a highlight, letting me fall asleep to the sound of waves and wake up to a stunning sea view. Right in front of the guesthouse there is a small island, and you can even swim directly in the ocean which was such a rare and unforgettable experience. The guesthouse itself is simple and cozy, and the nearby hotel provides access to excellent facilities including an onsen and BBQ. Being able to relax in the hot spring after a swim and enjoy a BBQ dinner made the stay complete. The remote setting, the unique ocean view room, the chance to swim in front of the island, and the nearby hotel’s facilities all come together to make this a true 10 out of 10 experience. I would happily return.
