The staff at the Scandinavian Royal were very kind and welcoming. The pool/sauna space was really relaxing. And the room was calming and comfortable. We were leaving earlier than the breakfast buffet in the morning to catch a ferry, and the hotel made us up a bag of breakfast treats to go! Lovely experience.

This was a fantastic last-minute booking at a very reasonable nightly rate. I loved having a private bedroom with an external private bathroom, along with access to the well-equipped shared kitchen and lounge room. As I was the only guest during my mid-June stay (shoulder season), it was wonderfully quiet and provided a lovely, relaxing evening where I could prepare meals for my road trip and enjoy some reading. The views were absolutely beautiful – both from the dining/kitchen area and from my bedroom on the opposite side. It's a very lovely setting and a short, convenient drive to Stavanger. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely time staying at the apartment. The host is outstanding, really easy to communicate and answer all requests really quick. The home is beautifully designed and furnished and the kitchen was very well equipped and the bedroom was really comfortable. We felt like home being there. The location was really good and the neighborhood was really nice. Thoroughly recommended
