Sure reasonable price to the all facilities which they have. Nice and friendly stuff. Great location - u are able to reach any distinction. Electrical charger! And most important - if you have a kids - they can play at kids room while you are at the bar and you can see them!

The hotel was excellent, very clean. Bedroom and bathroom were great and a good size. The bed was comfortable, and breakfast was fantastic. The only option for dinner in the evening was a buffet, but it was very good. I really could not fault the place. The hotel team were also very friendly. I can’t speak a word of Portuguese, but the staff could not do enough to help out. The cost for one night also includes access to the pool area for free so make sure you remember your swimwear,  like I didn’t.

Amazing surroundings around the hotel, with beautiful views from the room as well. The breakfast was delicious, offering plenty of options to choose from—buffet-style on the weekend, while on Monday they took orders for eggs and pancakes. The beds were very comfortable, and we were offered free parking in the garage. The outdoor jacuzzi and indoor saunas were great. The staff at the reception were very welcoming, and the sangria at the hotel bar was delicious.

This hotel is located in Unhais da Serra, a village tucked away in Serra da Estrela Natural Park. It features a large landscaped pool, and specializes in spa and wellness treatments.

Our time at The Vagar Countryhouse was a trip highlight during a three-week trek around the entirety of Portugal. It is a stunning property with amazing bedding, delicious food, and a central location for touring local castles. Marta was an exceptional host. I can't say enough good things about our experience. The breakfasts were incredible.We enjoyed their salad and charcuterie board offerings one evening for dinner. Don't look any further if you seek a spot to feel pampered and welcome, out of the hustle and bustle of the coastal cities. Plus, leafing through several Architectural Digest magazines on display in the motherhouse and seeing our room featured was fun. Make sure to visit the castles of Sortelha and Monsanto.

Very clean and staff was 5-star. It is a modern hotel within a century building... It creates the comfort of modern facilities with the rustic art of old buildings. It has swimming pool. Hotel is outside Fundão in a very calm environment. Perfect to relax. Breakfast is also amazing.

Friendly and helpful service after booking on a short notice. Very spacious, clean and comfortable in a beautiful setting. Excellent breakfast at the restaurant. Unfortunately we arrived on a the day when the restaurant is closed for the evening as that seemed to be a real treat to dine there.

Where to begin? Rita was a wonderful host, warmly welcoming us into her home. Even before our arrival, she ensured everything was perfectly arranged, and once we arrived, she provided all the information and essentials we needed. The house itself is simply stunning - spacious, beautifully renovated, and decorated with taste. It's clear that a lot of care and love went into restoring this historic property for your comfort. The space is vast, and the colored windows create a magical atmosphere as light pours through. The kitchen and the rest comes with fully equipped so you will miss nothing for a long stay. The location couldn't be better, right in the heart of the city, making it convenient to explore local shops and enjoy leisurely strolls. Parking is easy, and everything is within reach. The garden is a fantastic spot to soak up the sun and enjoy the mountain views. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to use it much due to the weather, but it's definitely on our list now!
