    We had an unforgettable, relaxing stay at the Škatlar cottages (our group rented #2 and #3). The property itself is stunning, right in the middle of the vineyard, overlooking the mountains. The cottage is new, spacious and fully equipped (kitchen, washing machine). The wine cellar is located below the property. The owner Matjaz was so friendly, he shared his knowledge & love of wine with us with a wine tasting on the day of our arrival. It was one of our favorite experiences and places we stayed in Slovenia. Highly recommend!!

    Wonderful host Matjaz, showed us Slovenian traditions and food. You get to have the key for the wine cellar, and can taste home made wines from the vines right in front of the house. The house is fully equipped, although historic: it is a unique experience highly recommended. An astonishing place for relaxation, while at a few minutes by car from the highway and towns. 10/10
