This hotel exceeded all our expectations. It was our first stop after arriving from Ireland and we couldn’t have been happier. The staff were excellent and the hotel was beautiful. Everyone was so kind and accommodating to all our needs. The food was delicious and the cocktails on the rooftop bar had us coming back for more. If I was in Vietnam for longer, I would return to this hotel in a heartbeat.

Excellent staff. Ms Xenia kept a check on me and was so helpful as I was ill during our stay. Like having a friend or family member during our stay and gave me recommendations for medication and was so helpful with organising a trip to Ninh Binh. Gave us plenty of recommendations for places nearby and cafes open during the new year holiday. Staff like Xenia make all the difference and we will definitely return in the future. The hotel is in an excellent location, great comfy bed, and well sound proofed from the busy streets. Very elegant fixtures and was a great luxury after a long day of sightseeing.

We were recommended this hotel and rightly so: it’s a calm oasis in the centre of old quarter Hanoi with the train street 3 min walk away. The staff were amazing- Lucy booked extra trips and excursions, which worked perfectly. I would not hesitate to go back there. A 5 star hotel with a heart and great value.

we had the lovely terrace room that had a large balcony/terrace. room was huge with bath & shower. really lovely room for old quarrt hotel. hotel was very class fit out. breakfast was a great western style breakfast with great variety. pool was fabulous with a lovely view. Bar and upper deck seating area was lovely. Service was excellent & staff were very attentive to any queries we had about visiting the outer areas. 10/10 for a beautiful quaint hotel in the old quarter

Very comfortable room with beautiful furnishings. Friendly and hospitable staff who helped us to call our taxi booking company to inform them of where to pick us up when the street was closed for the weekend market. Very central location right next to the Hoan Kiem lake and main shopping streets. Would definitely stay here again!

The hotel was amazing, from the staff down to the room itself. It was in an amazing location with all the noise and bustle of Hanoi. They sent me a message before we arrived to ask if we would like a free upgrade to a connected room for our friend. We accepted and we were so happy that we did. When we arrived at the airport, we were asked by the hotel if we would like a taxi booking. We didn't accept straight away, until we arrived and realised how busy and chaotic it was (in a good way!). They got us a taxi sorted asap and even sent us the details of the driver. When we arrived we were given a glass of fresh juice each and a warm moist towelette to cleanse our faces after the long flight. The towelette had what we thought was jasmine on it. It was a beautiful welcome. David also helped us organise a wonderful trip to Ha Long Bay. The staff were lovely and so, so helpful. We are so excited to go back and see David, Mary and Lucas again. There were many other amazing staff, but I can't remember their names!

    The room is very spacious, comfy and clean. It worths staying there before you take a plane elsewhere. I wish there were more hotels like this in the city of Hanoi ;) I would have stayed there for longer time as a tourist if it was situated in the city center. Large jacuzzi bath with good pressure of hot water. AC was in good condition. English speaking reseption host. Nice breakfast.
