Restful and beautiful. Property owner lives on the first floor. We didn’t stay long enough as I wish we had.

Kitchen well equipped. Pool was heated. Extra towels and toiletries were provided. Spritz was offered as a welcome drink.

Ideal for single traveller. No fuss. Parking easy off street. Obviously a lot of effort has gone into presentation of the room. Pleasant shock to walk into the room (sometimes that is not the case). I needed a map; the room was BIG. Did not use the sauna but should have. English speaking traveller patiently catered for. Excellent breakfast. Definitely would stay here again.

The Doktorwirt is a centuries-old inn with an indoor pool, an outdoor pool, and a spa area with sauna, steam bath, solarium, and gym. I wanted a hotel with retro charm that was family-run and offered wellness facilities, and that's exactly what I got: a rustic atmosphere, staff who really go out of their way to make you feel at home, peace and quiet, and an excellent breakfast.
