A spacious villa uphill in the quiet countryside of Switzerland with everything a family needs. A massive garden overlooks the village with swings for children to play. The beds are so comfy that we almost fell asleep immediately. Clean everywhere. A lot of options for breakfast, even some homemade products. 3 bathrooms and toilets for the guests! One of the bathroom has a big bath tub. We only stayed 1 night so didn't have time to use it. The property has 2 floors and the land lady slept in an extended part on the ground floor. She took care of us and cleaned the table and kitchen after our dinner and breakfast. At first I felt a little awkward that the land lord was around. But she is so friendly and kind that you almost feel you are served by a caring mother and a granny of my kids. She couldn't speak English very well but still made the effort to chat with us using Google Translate. My wife and kids had been afraid of dogs for a long time due to negative experience from before, but her dog "Mo" gave us a calm and friendly feeling that my kids started to play with it the next morning. On our departure she gave us a full bag of food including home-made jams and bread to eat on our way home. What a hospitality! We feel home here and will never forget such a warm-hearted land lady!

Free WiFi access is provided in public areas. We stayed in the guard tower room, which is a bit different from most of the rooms in the hotel. It's right above the castle gate, with windows on 3 sides, but since the walls are 70cm thick and made of stone, it's very well insulated from noise. The conveniences/electrical system were slightly constrained by the fact that we were surrounded by thick stone, but they nonethless did a great job of making a beautiful, comfortable, and engagingly quirky room. Breakfast was also exceptional, with some of the best bread and pastry I've had in Switzerland.

It was so helpful that we were thinking why other hotels don’t provide this facility!! Coming to the room, it was super spacious with an unbelievable view. The staff made an upgrade of our room for free. We enjoyed our room so much and appreciated it. We also like the restaurant with local trout.

The restaurant serves good quality food with reasonable price.

Free WiFi is available throughout the building. What an amazing experience! The room was large, comfortable and spotless. The staff were friendly and helpful, they communicated with us so that a shuttle was waiting to pick us up from the station when we arrived. And then there was the view from the room… words cannot describe it. Heavenly. I would love to come back here. It was quite expensive in our standards, but definitely worth every penny.
