In a prime location in the centre of Chester, The Hotel Chester is within less than 1 km of Chester Racecourse and 6.4 km of Chester Zoo. This 5-star hotel offers luggage storage space. The hotel features a hot tub, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. Everything about it was great. The location , the facilities and the service. I was given a complimentary upgrade which was such a unexpected surprise.

Certain units have a seating area where you can relax. A flat-screen TV is provided. The staff was remarkably kind, breakfast was generous and delicious! Plus, the town was very calm and the surrounding hills are gorgeous. I can only recommend this place.

The staff at this hotel truly went above and beyond! From the doorman to the check-in lady, everyone was exceptional. The hotel itself is modern and perfect, with beautiful art throughout. The cleaning staff were friendly, and the bar area staff were amazing. We were particularly impressed with the luggage handling - our bags were dropped off in our rooms before check-in, and two gentlemen helped us with our luggage to the car for our Uber. The hotel room was modern, the bathroom was clean and lovely, and the staff were always willing to go the extra mile to sort out any issues. Overall, our experience was exceptional in every way.

We have large, attractive rooms which all have TVs, free Wifi, a hospitality tray including biscuits and water. Due to such low demand we are no longer serving breakfast at the hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Very pleasant owner and wife. Very helpful staff.

Lovely quiet location. Hotel was exceptionally clean and inviting . Room was very comfortable as was the bed. Service on the rooms was punctual and well organised. Nice spa and pool area overlooking the grounds of the practice range. Breakfast delicious and restaurant fare of high quality.

The hotel has some of the best on-site facilities in the area, half of the rooms with hot tubs on private balconies, an on-site spa with poolside seating and a bar, stylish restaurant and cocktail bar, bike hire, wakesurfing and paddleboading. 10 out of 10. The whole experience was fantastic especially since it was our Honeymoon we couldn't have asked for a better stay. I mentioned when booking for a jug of dairy free milk, which we received in the room but also in a fridge which from my understanding not all rooms come with, again this was going above the call of duty. The room was amazing and cleaned to perfection. We ordered room service which again was second to none and when we dined at the on site restaurant again absolutely fantastic. We've already suggested that we will be coming back next year for our first anniversary.
